Hi, I'm Aneta!

One of my projects that im currently working on together with my friend Ivana... Our names are Aneta and Ivana, and we created our project, which is called SMÄD, at the beginning of 2023 to go against the pressure of creating art. It's about unwinding, relaxing and awakening our childish self. Doodling regardless of the outcome. We are both art students and that's why we see the importance in that. We regularly organize thirsty evenings in our apartment or also various workshops or teambuildings. We were also part of several festivals. INSTAGRAM @SMAD.NI

polarity and merging of two elements. me as a living medium, and mother earth in the form of sun and sand quivering on my tender body. the sand tickling my fingertips, and the sun pulsating warm rays on my cold body. what an insignificant yet satisfying feeling to feel the warm embrace of mother earth.

Their only connection is one man and also one house. This house tells us stories without us asking. House No. 339 is an example of generational growth and damage. A picturesque place called home that was known for its fresh cakes and glassware. Today, it is a simple house where Stanislava stayed to live after the death of Ludmila’s brother. The house is just a beautiful memory for Ludmila. While for Stanislava, it is still a place we call home.

I called the story and the whole topic UMWELT. What it means in translation is "SUBJECTIVE UNIVERSE OF THE INDIVIDUAL", or some bubble in which it exists. UMWELT theory says that the mind and the world are two inseparable things because the mind interprets the world to other organisms. And that's why different organisms can have different separate WORLDS, even if they live in the same environment. As each organism is unique, so is each UMWELT different and unique.

I would like to present to you the story of my village, which is located in a small, quite controversial place, which in its time was mainly known as a brothel where women worked for minimal money and the behavior of the employees was not morally correct. this work focuses on the aesthetic elements of the building from the outside but mainly from the inside. I try to help the environment come up with something that fascinates me because since I was little I heard a lot about the place…. my main intention was to point out the very story that happened in this place and it was not so long ago. The case began in 2014 with the notification of a foreigner's illness with Legionella bacteria to the Regional Hygiene Station in Zlín. A foreigner died of this disease after returning to his homeland from a short stay in a wellness hotel in the Zlín region. Employees of the sanitary station took samples of drinking and hot water in the hotel and found up to 1,500 times the hygienic limit of Legionella bacteria After this story, I decided that it would be great to wonder there after such a long time and find out how the space works now. I was surprised by the premises, which look the same empty, even though the whole place is undergoing some kind of reconstruction, and I learned from the management that they are even "reviving tradition" and the place will be opened for its original purpose in the summer. the whole set of postcards shows a small nekale place of a brothel in a classic Czech village, where I come from, and breaks down the taboo of sexual topics and sex tourism and customer reviews from the time of opening until now. I would also like to introduce the definition of sex tourism, which refers to the practice of traveling to foreign countries, often to another continent, with the intention of engaging in sexual activity or relationships in exchange for money or lifestyle support. This practice works mostly in countries where sex work is legal. and therefore in our village I would divide the opinions of the residents about this place and the whole case into two parts, either you admire the place for its courage or you conservatively respond to its activity and inactivity

the theme of exploring the child self that points to the layering and masking of our everyday life, the photo series works with the layering of children's clothing and the shedding of layers as it happens from our childhood when we are forced by society to slowly shed our child selves and act and behave more maturely as fits and belongs while our childhood self is still deeply rooted in us

I don't sleep much and when I sleep I dream about the colorful house in my childhood imagination. Memories of childhood distorted by bright colors that overlay all kinds of traumas. I like to go back to nostalgic painful moments, and overlay the colors of the wallpaper of night walls and everyday dreams.
